This is a high quality futuristic texture pack specifically designed for a science fiction type scene or level.
It contains 70 original images in .TGA format. The more ornate textures have specular highlights, giving them a metal like shine which looks correct in a wide range of lighting situations. Normal maps are included to give the textures an extra 'pop' when combined with a shader effect.
Most textures are 512x512, but there are a few which are smaller (mostly for trim and such).
The pack has been updated on 11.27.07! Improvements include: Vastly improved colors and color variation, some dirt and grunge has been added, details like rivets and pipes have been added, and the normal maps have been refined. If you purchased the previous version, you can download the update for free! You will also have access to the older files if they are still needed. New customers need only download the newer files with "update" in their names. Please download the ReadMe.zip if you purchase. It contains some helpful hints.
